Description
The 12-team Basketball Africa League (BAL) was founded in 2019 as a partnership between the National Basketball Association (NBA) and International Basketball Federation (FIBA). Zamalek (Cairo, Egypt) defeated US Monastir (Tunisia) to win the first BAL championship in 2021.
